Pest control in North Druid Hills

Atlanta has heavy subterranean termite pressure — the clay soils, tree canopy and mix of basements, crawlspaces and slabs give them easy access, and they swarm across the metro every spring.

German cockroaches infest Atlanta apartments and kitchens year-round, while large smokybrown roaches — what many Georgians call "palmetto bugs" — move in from mulch, trees and attics.

Roof rats are common in older intown Atlanta neighborhoods, nesting in attics and along the tree canopy, while house mice push indoors across the suburbs each fall.

Metro Atlanta consistently ranks among the worst cities in the country for mosquitoes. The Asian tiger mosquito — an aggressive daytime biter — breeds in the shaded canopy and the smallest containers, and West Nile virus appears most summers.
